Our reconciliation vision
“Our vision is for all our people to respect and embrace the proud heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and to actively promote opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, places and relationships in our operations and local communities across Australia.”

Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan
Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) conveys our ambition to advance our reconciliation journey.
We are committed to strengthening and broadening the contribution Boral can make to the prosperity, and social and cultural wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
Our Reflect RAP is the first of four stages under Reconciliation Australia’s RAP Framework that we intend to progress through in coming years.
While we have worked to advance the causes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our operations for many years, our Reflect RAP reinforces our commitment to reconciliation, and provides a consistent and robust approach for developing future reconciliation initiatives.
It sets out clear actionable deliverables over the next year across the pillars of reconciliation: relationships, respect and opportunities.
We are committed to:
Relationships – building strong and long-lasting relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations and communities, based on respect and a deep understanding of their culture.
Respect – deepening mutual respect and trust by raising cultural awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Opportunities – broadening social and economic opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through employment – including long-term career pathways and training – and increasing participation in our supply chain.
We are clearly focused on delivering against our RAP commitments to further advance our efforts in making a meaningful contribution to reconciliation.

We are proud to have worked with Gilimbaa, a Supply Nation-certified Indigenous-owned business, which designed our Reconciliation Action Plan and the artwork in it.
